Spines

This is something that seemed like a good idea at the time, but as I look at it I question just what the hell I was thinking.

They are burn-out castings of seeds from a Sweetgum tree, specifically those mace-like pods that they drop which suck to step on barefoot.

Anyway, after I cast a whole one I was going to re-melt it down- but I cut it in half to see if there was any investment trapped inside (There was A LOT.) and I kind of liked the way they looked. So I put tentacles on the big one and made the small ones sort of angular.

I'm not happy with how these turned out. But if someone wants to buy them, they are totally for sale. The big one is almost an ounce of sterling, and the smaller ones are about .4 each.

I dunno. I'll post something much better this week.
